Working on a new page

Well, I figured, since I am modelling a Sinnoh adventure of my own, I need to work more on my characters backstory, family, and friends. Hence I’ve been working on a new page called “Friends and Relatives” (creative, I know ). The page can be found, once published, from the “About the Protagonist(s)” page.

It will be published on the tomorrow, if everything goes well. I still have to add a handful Pokémon to a few people, but the other details are pretty much done. There’s 4 people that still need Pokémon ^__^

So I’ll be working on that tomorrow, indeed. I’m not sure whether tomorrow will be another General Info post or not. I don’t have a lot of time for the game these days :/ (D’oh!)

But we’ll be back on track asap. Now that I’ve got the teams of Kijame’s friends done, it will be a lot easier for me to pick her remaining team-mates. In fact I already did. Kinda.

Either way, I’ll save the Legendaries for another time. Regardless of whether I’ll have my character catch them or not, they won’t be in her team, simply because fighting with Legendaries is kinda boring. If a team has more than one, it’s kinda… meh.

(On a sidenote, I hate to encounter all-legendaries teams on Battle Revolution. And then they don’t even have guts/courtesy/politeness/whateva to let me register their Trainer Card.

How is one supposed to get the Diamond and Pearl cards, if the people you wi-fi with don’t let you register their Passes? >.<

Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any shinies on PBR yet. Maybe I should transfer my own and have a look.)

There’s shiny Buneary (it’s PINK!), shiny Sneasel (moar PINK!) and Tropius (not sure if shiny or not). Though of course this is subkect to change, maybe I’ll make up my mind one day. XD

I mean, if I could, I’d have more than 6 in a team, obviously.

You probably noticed…

… that parts of my blog and Kijame’s adventures are things that didn’t happen the way I wrote it, or could never have happened in that specific game. Seeing as this isn’t my first playthrough, I thought I should kick it up a notch, hence things like shinies. Perhaps I will even ‘catch’ a Pokémon in a place where it could never be. I might give the gym leaders personalities that are unexpected and/or inaccurate. All this is because I’m personalizing my adventure.

As a matter of fact, I’ve played with the idea of putting more shinies in my team. Not for the sake of being ‘cool’ with shinies, but because some Pokémon simply look better as shinies. I’ve thought about doing it with Tropius, for example. Then I thought of getting a shiny Celebi, since it’s pink, so it’s nice and girly. I’ve also thought of making a team completely with DARK or DRAGON type Pokémon. But perhaps I’ll save that for another time.

The point is, that in quite a few ways, this will be different from a normal playthrough. I might trade some Pokémon not found in Sinnoh, and I’ll write that Kijame actually caught it somewhere. Who knows.

Keep in mind that this is for (my) fun, so there’s no limit to what can happen. I’m already getting tired of Sinnoh Legendaries, so maybe I’ll add some spice by returning some old favourites.

*really wants to play the Gold & Silver remakes now*

Well, that’s that. As you can see from my main blog, I have been busy today, hence no new updates in the adventures to day. But I’ve been meaning to write this general info post anyways. That’s all, folks!
